Mani Sierra
Biography:
Mani Sierra is an instrumental guitarist based in San Antonio, TX who has described his style as "progressive ethereal rock". Sierra has released two instrumental albums on Loud Dust records and tours extensively. He plays venues of all sizes and splits his time performing between acoustic solo appearances and fronting an all-electic band.
During his teens, Sierra was a classical guitar instructor at Windsor Music in San Antonio, Texas. At the time, he was fascinated by the range of perceptions his students (both his peers and older players) had about the instrument and became determined to create truly unique music. His recordings contain elements of New Age that communicate the feel of the open sky blended with inspired guitar-scapes.
