Jeff Findl

Biography:

Jeff Findl is a California-based guitarist/composer who was named the 2003 Instrumental Artist of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. His style combines a pleasant song orchestration with melodic acoustic guitar playing reminiscent of Michael Hedges and Preston Reed. His 2004 release, Somebody Got Happy Fingers, was played on over 200 non-commercial radio stations and rose to #5 on the New Age Reporter Airwaves Chart along with being the 46th most played album in 2004 on the New Age Reporter chart.

After releasing his debut album, Findl reworked and expanded on his earlier sound. The result was "Jeff Findl and the Acoustic Accomplices", a studio-created band brought together by Los Angeles record producer Ronan Chris Murphy (Veneto West Studio). The lineup included Giovanna Joyce Imbesi (Yani and Andy Summers) on keyboards, Ian Sheridan (Jason Mraz) on bass, Victor Bisetti (Los Lobos) on drums and Dave Pearlman (Dan Fogelberg) on pedal steel guitar. The songs from Findl's original album were recomposed and re-recorded along with new material for a 21 song CD titled Beach Buzz Instrumentals.
